Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions form an agreement between you and CortexLabs governing your use of VIX — Verified Identity X-Tenant, including the mobile app, the web portal and any wallet passes issued through them.

By signing in, claiming a pass or linking a card, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use VIX.

VIX is an enterprise workforce tool. Access is granted through your employer's verified email domain and may be suspended or withdrawn by your employer or by CortexLabs at any time.

You may only claim the employee record that belongs to you. Attempting to claim, view or use another person's pass is a serious breach of these terms.

Your digital clock-in pass, badge number and barcodes are personal and non-transferable.

You must not screenshot, share, copy, print or reproduce your pass for another person, and you must not attempt to clone, emulate or tamper with an NFC credential.

Report a lost device or suspected misuse immediately so your pass can be locked and re-versioned.

Do not use VIX to harass colleagues, post unlawful content, misrepresent working time, disable security controls, reverse-engineer the platform, or probe, scan or test its security without written authorisation.

Clock-in, break and geofence records must be accurate. Falsifying them may constitute fraud and is a matter for your employer's disciplinary process.

We work to keep VIX available continuously, but the service is provided on an as-available basis and may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades or events outside our control.

Offline caching lets your pass display without a connection; time-sensitive actions may still require connectivity.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CortexLabs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from your employer's own access decisions, payroll processing or disciplinary actions.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Your access ends when your employment or your employer's subscription ends. Records required for payroll and legal compliance are retained by your employer under the Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
